TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Installation Prices: Prices for 3rd party installations are as follows:

Back-up installation including CoC: R8,500
Hybrid installation with up to 10 panels including CoC: R13,500
Hybrid installation with up to 20 panels including CoC: R16,000

Inclusions: All mentioned prices include after-sales support and a 1-year installation warranty.
Payment: 80% Deposit Payment for the chosen installation package is due prior to the
commencement of the installation process.
Installation Provider: Soltech Energy uses accredited installers to carry out installation duties.
The installation will be carried out by a third-party provider selected by the customer. The
customer is responsible for verifying the credentials and qualifications of the chosen installation
provider.
Scheduling: The installation process will be scheduled directly with the third-party provider. The
customer agrees to provide necessary access to the property and cooperation during the
installation process.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made as per the policies of the chosen installation
provider. Any applicable fees or charges related to cancellations will be the responsibility of the
customer.
Warranty: The installation comes with a 1-year warranty. This warranty covers defects in
materials and workmanship. Any modifications or repairs made by unauthorized personnel void
this warranty. The third-party provider will handle warranty claims directly.
Additional Costs: Any additional work or components required beyond the scope of the chosen
installation package will be communicated to the customer by the third-party provider and
billed separately.
Liability: The third-party provider shall be solely liable for any damages or losses incurred during
the installation process, except for damages directly caused by the customer’s negligence.
Completion: The installation process will be considered complete once the system is
operational, and the customer has been provided with necessary training and documentation by
the third-party provider.
Customer Responsibilities: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installation
complies with local regulations, building codes, and obtaining any necessary permits or
approvals.
Changes to Terms: The customer is advised to review the terms and conditions provided by the
chosen third-party installation provider. Any disputes or concerns related to the installation
process should be addressed directly with the third-party provider.
By proceeding with the third-party installation, the customer acknowledges and agrees to abide by
these terms and conditions.

Order and Quotations:

An order is only considered valid when payment has cleared in our bank account and Soltech Energy has confirmed the order.
Order and quotations are subject to stock availability
Quotations and sales orders pricing is valid for 1 day.

Delivery

We deliver across South Africa
Please note that the automatic calculated shipping from our online shop is only for a radius of 50kms.
A new shipping quote will be provided for areas further than 50kms
Packages are dispatched when payment has cleared in our accounts and delivery is normally within 2 to 3 days . Delivery to outlying areas may take more than 3 days.
Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment
Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.
Boxes are amply sized and your items are well-protected.
Own collection can be arranged but handling and packaging fees may be applicable

Warrantees and Guarantees

Any goods supplied by Soltech Energy shall be subject to the manufacturing company’s warranty.
A Certificate of compliance (COC) issue on the installation of products is required to claim the warranty.
Soltech Energy shall assist claiming of the warranty with the manufacture.

Warranty is null and void on :

Failure to use the products in accordance with instructions and specifications provided by the Manufacturer;
Should the product has been subjected to physical damage, abuse, misuse, alteration, neglect, tampering, improper maintenance, or has been serviced, repaired, installed by persons not possessing the necessary qualifications required to do so;
The product is not returned with an invoice/verifiable method confirming proof of purchase.
Repairs not covered by the warranty carry a charge.

Returns

All returns of unwanted or wrongly purchased goods carry a 25% handling fee

Installations and installers

Soltech Energy does not do installations, only specialise in the sale of solar equipment
